Air, Vapour & Watertight Self Adhesive Membrane
B-s2, d0 Butyl Facade Sealing Membrane (SA) is a Class B, permanently UV resistant, high strength butyl, airtight and fully watertight membrane used as a perimeter membrane seal to the internal or external side of glazed units such as windows and doors. It is specifically designed for use at low thresholds where a risk of standing or ponded water exists. When correctly installed, it provides an air and fully watertight seal over the construction joint. It can also be used to seal and protect horizontal and vertical linear joints between sheathing boards and the main structure.
B-s2, d0 Butyl Facade Sealing Membrane (SA) meets the fire performance requirements for membranes installed on “relevant and higher risk” building types as defined in Approved Document B of the Building Regulations for England and Wales.
It is available in 20 m rolls with a range widths from 100 mm to 300 mm wide and when installed over compatible substrates with a minimum Class A2-s1, d0 fire performance provides a Class B-s2, d0 fire performance in accordance with EN 13501-1.
B-s2, d0 Butyl Facade Sealing Membrane (SA) is a water, air and vapour tight membrane.
