FA190 Frame and Façade Silicone

FA190 is a one part, neutral curing, low modulus, low odour silicone sealant. It is fast curing, ready-to-use, suitable for weather sealing and bonding in construction applications. It has excellent adhesion to most porous substrates including wooden, aluminium and PVC-U window and door frames, concrete.

Usage/purpose

FA190 is ideal for use in: expansion & curtain wall joints, perimeter joints around windows or doors, panel joints between most common substrates, heel and toe beads, polycarbonate glazing and other general joint sealing applications.

FA101 Premium Glazing Silicone is typically used around glazing. It is also suitable for movement joints, meeting the requirements of EN ISO 11600. It offers good adhesion to most non-porous substrates such as anodized aluminium, polyacrylates, polycarbonates, painted or varnished wood, glass and glazed surfaces.

Not recommended for permanent immersion, use on materials where migration of constituents can take place (e.g. certain rubbers) or food contact. Do not use where abrasion or physical abuse will be encountered (e.g. cable tray joints). Not suitable for over painting. Always test before using on sensitive substrates (e.g. marble, architectural stones, etc.). Where staining is a problem, use FA870.
