What are the benefits of the ME020 and self-adhesive membranes?
ME020 is a self-adhesive, breathable window sealing membrane with the reaction to fire class of B-s1,do. As well as the fire class of B-s1,do, the ME020 also provides quicker application time, premeasured quantity and a wider temperature application range. The ME020 is the ideal solution for the high demands placed on window and façade sealing on high-rise buildings.
Application Time
The ME020 has been tested and proved to be 50% faster than traditional EPDM membranes with site applied adhesive. This makes the new ME020 an ideal option for fast moving projects where installation time is of the essence.
A Single Product
The ME020 is applied on projects as a single product, reducing waste packaging from multiple products on site. A simpler waste management plan can be achieved with less products, meaning fewer waste streams, storage containers and a reduction in the amount of waste storage. This decrease in waste not only benefits the environment but also lowers disposal costs, as there's less packaging to manage. Onsite benefits from having reduction in products, creating a cleaner and more efficient space to work.
Premeasured Adhesive Quantity
As the adhesive used with ME020 is pre-applied and measured, it is optimised for use, creating a more efficient application process. With the right amount available from the start, no product is wasted, and you get the most out for the product for cost.
Application Temperature
ME020 can be applied at a greater temperature range, ideal for projects that run in summer and winter. Installers can maximise the application temperature longevity, installing in temperatures of +5°C to +30°C.
